Choosing the best weight loss exercise is one of the best things you can do in order to shed off those extra pounds from your body. But a lot of people cringe at the mere mention of the word exercise. So how can you ensure that you are getting enough amount of it? One of the most essential things that you can do in order to not be discouraged to exercise is to start out slowly. It will not do you any good to put yourself in a routine that is so painful and stressful that you do not find any enjoyment out of it. When such is your routine, it is hard to force yourself to do it regularly.

Start at a slow pace and do so for only about fifteen minutes at first. The next day, increase your time to twenty minutes. After a few weeks at it, try to increase the duration to thirty minutes a day and try to go for a walk every second day. Once you are regularly doing a walk for thirty minutes a day at least five times a week, you can start adding some challenges to the task such as climbing hills or stairs.
You should also try finding activities that you can enjoy with a friend, to be able to get the best weight loss exercise. These exercises may include such activities such as badminton, biking, tennis, swimming or any such activities that you can enjoy with a partner who have the same interest and intent as you. You may have different schedules so it would be better if you could get together first and agree on a specific time and date each week to do the exercise. Such a buddy system will have more chances of succeeding than doing an exercise alone since you will be able to enjoy it more. Both of you can also encourage each other so the benefits would be mutual.
If you do not have the time for an exercise routine, then you will have to force yourself into it. For a start, you can park your car further away than usual so you will have a greater distance to walk. Fifteen minutes away would be fine since that means you will have to spend fifteen minutes walking each way. For a busy man, such a thirty minute walk everyday could already be your best weight loss exercise. But then you will have to make the extra effort of waking up earlier than usual so you will not be late for work.
In going to your office, why not take the stairs instead of the elevator? If you have an office on the thirtieth floor of the building, such a task may not be feasible but at least try to get off a few floors from your office, and take the rest of the way on the stairs. Whatever exercise you try to do every day, the most important thing is that you are able to do it easily and pleasurably. Your best weight loss exercise is the one you will enjoy best.
